Types of Panel Joinery:

Wind-Lok

  • Concealed fastener
  • Does not allow for expansion and contraction
  • Positive and negative pressures make joint tighter

Slip Joint

  • Concealed fastener
  • Does not allow for expansion and contraction
  • Positive and negative pressures create the possible disengagement of panel

Overlap

  • Concealed fastener
  • Does not allow for expansion and contraction
  • Positive and negative pressures create the possible disengagement of panel

Snap-On Separate Cap

  • Clip allows for expansion and contraction
  • Small water leg that can allow for water infiltration

Snap-On Integral Panel

  • Pan and cap are all one unit
  • Snap together, Wind-Lok design
  • High water leg

Field Seamed

  • If using movable clips, the joint allows for expansion and contraction
  • Watertight system

4-Way Lock

  • Panel interlocks on all four sides
