This installation training manual is intended for installers of metal roofs, related products and accessories. Other professionals involved in the construction industry such as architects, specification writers, contractors, building owners, manufacturers, and numerous others can benefit from this training manual. This manual addresses the installation of metal roofing material and related accessories and includes information pertaining to both new construction reroofing and retrofit projects. It has been developed to improve the installation of metal roofing within the construction industry and its intended use is to eliminate avoidable problems and reduce the need for additional work due to callbacks.

METAL ROOF INSTALLATION MANUAL – EXAM

A partner to the downloadable MCA Metal Roof Installation Manual, this exam is broken up into 20 chapters with approximately 10 questions per chapter.  The exam’s “Save and Resume” feature is enabled for the participant’s convenience. Each question addresses the installation of metal roofing material and related accessories and includes questions pertaining to both new construction reroofing and retrofit projects. The exam has been developed to improve the installation of metal roofing within the construction industry. A certificate of completion is sent electronically to successful participants. Unsuccessful participants may retake the exam at no additional charge.
