This year, 2004, ATAS takes a look at products and services they offer to the architectural and construction industry, and the (results) can be defined in two words: “Single Source”. A single source in simpler terms is a “one-stop shopping” experience where a variety of products and services are offered to complete the building envelope where metal systems are specified. ATAS manufactures many building products and follows up with the service, as one source.

Sub-sources
Under this Single Source are “sub-sources” for convenience user-friendliness for the customer. These parts are broken down to be (manageable) when choosing products for a project. They are roofing, walls, accessories and service. For a more comprehensive view of what the sources include the sub-sources are defined by the products they include:

• Standing Seam systems including shingle style, field seam style, snap together seam and snap-on seam.
• Tiles including scalloped, granular and Spanish style.
• Shingles including diamond-shaped and simulated asphalt.
• Simulated wood shake.

The Wall Source:
• Flush and ribbed profiles.

Benefits for the Customer
All across the industry – architects, contractors, specifiers and distributors can benefit form having a single source to do business with. In dealing with one manufacturer for many building envelop needs, there is an understanding and consistency of quality control in all profiles. Detailing coordination and extended knowledge and expertise of multiple systems that will reduce difficulties in the design specification and installation processes. Color consistency and coordination across profiles and with accessories creates a higher level of control as well as flexibility during design.
