Permashake panels simulate the look of wood grained shingles without the maintenance problems associated with such a roof. Metal shake panels have the advantage of fire resistance and will not crack, split, warp or rot. Panels are installed from eave to ridge with concealed fasteners. Panels should be staggered for a natural appearance. The interlocking modules are fastened with an anchor clip and lock system. Typical applications for Permashake are decorative accents for mansards with a recommended minimum slope of 12:12 or greater.  Typical applications for Permashake II are commercial or residential buildings with a minimum slope of 4:12.
