On May 27th, 2009, ATAS International, Inc. announced the winners of their annual Project of the Year awards. ATAS Monarch Batten Seam

ATAS Monarch Metal Roofing PanelMonarch is a "batten" style panel with an integral batten and seam. The Batten Seam and the Lock are an integral part of the panel. A vertical “leg” is formed as an extra water barrier. A clip is hooked over the the leg; this allows for expansion of the system. The panels interlock with each other. All clips and fasteners required to install the panel are concealed with the batten of the consecutive panel. Continuous panel lengths eliminate cross seams. Easy one-piece installation lowers on-site labor cost. No extra caps or strips to install. Also, no special equipment is required to zip or seam the panels together.

  • .032, .040, .050 Aluminum
  • 24, 22* gauge metallic coated Steel,
  • 24* gauge 55% Al-Zn alloy coated Steel with acryllic coating
    • *Subject to minimum quantities and lead times

Specs:

  • Panel Width: 12", 16"      (Specify with or without stiffening ribs.)
  • Panel Length: cut to customer specifications with a min. of 4'-0", max. to transportation limitations
  • Seam Height: 2" Batten
  • Texture: Embossed, Smooth
  • Finish: KYNAR 500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF
  • Anodized: Clear, Dark Bronze
  • Colors: Choice of 30 standard colors.
  • Accessories: Same gauge and finish as the panel or as specified.
  • Minimum Pitch: 2:12
