ATAS Announces 2008 Project of the Year Winners

On May 27th, 2009, ATAS International, Inc. announced the winners of their annual Project of the Year awards. The ATAS Project of the Year awards were created to recognize those individuals who further the advancement of metal in construction. The 2008 ATAS Project of the Year Awards were open to any project completed in 2008 using systems manufactured by ATAS.

ATAS Opaline Structural Metal Wall PanelThe Opaline Series panel is a structural panel that can be installed on open framing and spans up to 2'-6" o.c. It can be applied to a solid substrate as well. It installs as a basic tongue and groove system with mechanical fasteners. The subsequent panel hides the fasteners. Panels are available with smooth or stucco embossed texture. Ideal applications for Opaline are vertical fascias, soffits, ceilings or sign bands, alternative for E.I.F.S., laminated or extruded panels. The panel can be used in lieu of wide face fastener details.
